First day of school 1st grade August 21st 2007

Look at these two big little girls!! They are about to cross over the bridge to school on their very first day of the first grade, that is so cool. I am so proud of these two children. They were both so excited to go back and they look so cute in their new school outfits.

Lucie's 6th birthday party August 28th 2007

Boy did we party! We had lots of little guest running around the yard and family there as well like grandmas Linda and Gayle and grandpa Joe, aunt Heather and uncle Joey. Lucie had pink, purple and white balloons and streamers decorating the back yard on what was her perfect summer birthday! She had a "Bratz" cake and we served hot dogs and burgers on the grill. The kids all got to take turns trying to bust open a pinata and took home goody bags. I had all the kids put their names in a hat and we drew 2 names to win a prize.The winners took home a poster. Lucie was in deed queen for a day.

Mr.Big learns to set up.

This handsome fellow is my almost 6 month old son David Joseph. He surprised all of us one day when he just sat up on his own. I was trying to see if he could and WA-la.. he did! Now we can really have fun playing with him. The girls have already discovered that he likes it when they play roll-the-ball with him. Now he squeals in delight when he see the girls pink little ball. Alexis just reminded me that we should get a picture of him with the ball which is a good idea so, we'll do that and post another picture of him real soon so look for him in my next posting. I love baby David's smile here in this picture...my favorite so far, I think! Double click this picture to get a better look at him...he is super cute!

Little girls need to feel prettty too!

The girls got their first manicure and a pedicure last week. They really liked getting pampered and love the way their hands and feet look with the pretty polish and added some sparkle with flowers too! Alexis said, "I liked it when they scrubbed on my toes because it tickled!" Lucie agreed she liked her toe scrubbing too and said "it felt really good!" They had a lot of fun and 4 and 5 days later they still look nice....."we got them done at the nail salon inside walmart":}

Lucie Rae

Lucie is my 5 year old daughter. she is a lot of fun and likes to have fun all the time. She is a talented dancer, she took ballet and tap this year and just finished preforming at the recital in May. She is going to be in the first grade this fall and she can not wait to go to school because she likes it so much. She has been spending the summer at home hanging out with me and the baby. She is always helping me out, so much I really can't believe it! Her bright smile and love for life keeps me on my toes so there is never ant time for me to dwell over my silly little problems. I love my little Lucie. She is a good girl for m.....most of the time anyways:].
